# Features | OTS Signs

> What Ausvero does: build and schedule content, monitor screens, sell ads, and prove what played.

Canonical page: https://ots-signs.com/features

Ausvero is the platform that runs OTS Signs screens. You build content in it, schedule it, watch your screens, and prove what played.

Each feature carries a badge for the plans that include it. “All plans” means Core and up. Each feature below is tagged with the plans that include it.

## Layouts, menus, and media

Design screens in the browser, keep menu prices in tables, and store media in one library. People outside your team can send you files through a link.

### Build layouts in your browser (All plans)

Drag text, images, video, and widgets into zones, or start from a template. Your edits stay in draft until you publish, and an edit lock stops a teammate from saving over you. Each publish adds a version to the layout's history.

- Split a screen into zones
- Edit in draft, publish when ready
- Edit locks prevent overwrites

### Run menu boards from Data Tables (All plans)

A Data Table holds the rows a layout shows: menu items, prices, price lists. The New menu board wizard starts from a design with sample data, a CSV or Excel file, or a table you already have. Group items by category and give each one up to four price sizes. Mark an item sold out and its screens update without waiting for approval.

- Import from CSV or Excel
- Up to four price sizes per item
- Hide, strike, or dim sold-out items

Note: Core includes 25 tables of 500 rows. Pro includes 100 tables of 1,000 rows, plus variants by location or screen group and site manager roles. Enterprise has no table limit.

### Keep media in one library (All plans)

Upload images, video, PDFs, audio, and Office documents, then sort them with folders and tags. Replace a file once and every layout using it gets the new version. Files can carry an expiry date, and you can import from Google Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint, or Canva.

- Folders and tags
- Replace a file across layouts
- Expiry dates on files

### Collect files with an upload link (All plans)

Send a folder link to franchisees, event staff, photographers, or vendors, and they upload from a browser with no account. You set the password, the upload limit, the file types, and whether visitors can see files already in the folder. Uploaders leave their name, and the folder owner gets a daily email digest.

- Password and upload limit
- Accepted file types
- Turn off or replace the link

### Also in content

- **Widgets for your layouts** (All plans): Clocks, weather, QR codes, RSS, tickers, web pages, and menus, each with several ready-made designs.
- **Calendar, social, and reviews** (Pro & Enterprise): Show an ICS calendar as an agenda, cards, or a month grid. Add public YouTube channels and playlists, YouTube and TikTok posts, and customer reviews.
- **Set up feeds once** (All plans): Connect RSS, ICS, review, and social sources one time. Ausvero syncs them every five minutes, and you can preview a feed before you use it. Review and social sources need Pro.
- **Apply your brand** (All plans): Save your colors, fonts, and logo, then apply them to templates and widgets.
- **Review layout history** (All plans): Look back through past versions of a layout and restore an older one. Core keeps 30 days, Pro 365, Enterprise unlimited. Restore needs Pro.
- **Get design help** (All plans): OTS Signs designers can build layouts, playlists, and schedules for you. You review each delivery in your workspace, comment on it, and approve it before it goes live. Creative work is quoted per project.

## Schedules, rules, and overrides

Plan content weeks out, set rules that react to weather and alerts, and take over a screen by hand.

### Plan what plays and when (All plans)

Schedule playlists, layouts, and campaigns to a single screen or a whole group. Check the plan in timeline, calendar, or list view, and publish now or weeks ahead. When two schedules overlap, the one with higher priority plays.

- Target screens or groups
- Timeline, calendar, and list views
- Priority settles overlaps

### Change content when conditions change (All plans)

Base a rule on local weather, an inbound webhook, or an official National Weather Service or CAP alert. The rule can start an override or an emergency broadcast and use the alert headline as the broadcast text. Preview it before you switch it on. Hysteresis keeps content from flipping back and forth near a threshold, and each rule shows when it last fired.

- Weather, webhook, or alert triggers
- Preview before you switch it on
- Last firing and any error

### Also in scheduling

- **Reuse named time blocks** (All plans): Define blocks like breakfast, lunch, and happy hour once, then use them in any schedule.
- **Repeat schedules** (All plans): Repeat hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly, with exception dates for days to skip.
- **Override a schedule** (All plans): Push content to a screen or group now. The override outranks the schedule until you end it.
- **Fill playlists by rule** (All plans): Fill a playlist from a rule, such as every file with a given tag.
- **Approve changes before publish** (All plans): Turn on approvals and changes wait in a queue until a reviewer signs off.
- **Set a publish time** (All plans): Queue Data Table and menu price changes for a set time, such as 6 am Monday.

## Take over screens in an emergency

Put existing content or a typed message on the screens, groups, or locations you choose. End the broadcast and your schedules resume.

### Broadcast to screens, groups, or locations (All plans)

Pick your targets, then choose existing content or type a message. A broadcast outranks schedules and overrides, and a banner stays in the app for as long as it runs. Only people with the broadcast permission can start one. The log records who sent it, what it showed, where, and when.

- Outranks schedules and overrides
- Separate broadcast permission
- Log of who, what, where, and when

## Watch your screens and fix problems

Check screenshots, status, and what's playing. Open a screen to diagnose it and act from the same page.

### See every screen on the Ops Wall (All plans)

Each screen gets a tile with its latest screenshot, its status, the content on air, and when the screenshot was taken. Pick small, medium, or large tiles. Wall mode goes full screen and refreshes itself, so you can leave it up in a control room.

- Online, stale, offline, maintenance
- What each screen is playing
- Self-refreshing wall mode

### Find screens on a map (All plans)

Your locations sit on a map with their screens. Each location stores an address, time zone, and local weather. Nest screen groups to match how your organization is set up.

- Screens by location
- Address, time zone, and weather
- Nested screen groups

### Find content that needs attention (All plans)

Content Health runs ten checks and lists the results in one inbox, from expiring media and failed files to unscheduled content and screens stuck on default content. Each check gives a count, examples, and a link to the fix. You can delete unused media or extend expiry dates in bulk.

- Ten checks, one inbox
- A link to each fix
- Bulk delete or extend expiry

### See what's using storage (All plans)

Settings > Storage breaks usage down by file type, top folders, largest files, and large files nothing uses, with a trend over time. Each plan includes 10 GB per screen. Extra storage costs $5 per month for each 50 GB.

- Usage by type and folder
- Large files nothing uses
- Usage trend over time

Note: Enterprise storage is set in your agreement.

### Run Ausvero on your hardware (All plans)

The Ausvero player runs on x86 Linux mini-PCs and Android TV devices, including ones you already own, in portrait or landscape. Players cache content so they keep playing offline, and they update during your maintenance window.

- Linux mini-PCs and Android TV
- Offline playback from cache
- Updates in your maintenance window

[Ask about pre-configured players](https://ots-signs.com/contact)

### Also in fleet operations

- **Manage a screen remotely** (All plans): Reboot it, take a fresh screenshot, clear its cache, or identify it for someone on site.
- **See why content is playing** (All plans): A screen's “Why is this playing?” panel names the schedule, override, or broadcast in charge.
- **Get alerts when screens go offline** (All plans): Ausvero emails you and keeps the alert in the app. Each screen also shows device health and 24-hour uptime.
- **Set maintenance windows** (All plans): Schedule planned downtime so it doesn't set off offline alerts.

## Prove what played and who changed what

Pull playback and uptime reports, trace each change to a person, and send clients proof of play.

### Review playback history (All plans)

See what played, where, when, and for how long, as a summary or play by play. Filter by screen, location, or content. Failed plays show the reason, and the whole report exports to CSV.

- Filter by screen, location, content
- Failed plays with reasons
- CSV export

Note: Core keeps 30 days of playback history, Pro 365, Enterprise unlimited.

### Track changes across your workspace (All plans)

The audit log records who changed what and when, with the values before and after. Each item also has its own history panel.

- Who made each change
- Before and after values
- History panel on each item

Note: Core keeps 30 days, Pro 365, Enterprise unlimited.

### Also in reporting

- **Share proof of play** (Pro & Enterprise): Generate PDF or CSV certificates for advertisers and clients. Each comes with a share link and a fingerprint the recipient can verify.
- **Email uptime reports** (Pro & Enterprise): Send weekly or monthly uptime reports with a CSV attached. Send yourself a test first.
- **Compare locations** (Pro & Enterprise): Line up uptime and playback by location, with network benchmarks beside them.
- **Export lists to CSV** (All plans): Export screens, media, schedules, and other lists, up to 10,000 rows.
- **Export workspace data** (Enterprise): Take all your workspace data out in one bulk export.

## Sell screen time to advertisers

Package your screens as inventory, book campaigns into loops, and check delivery against each booking.

### Plan and track ad campaigns (Pro & Enterprise)

Add advertisers and their campaigns, then book each campaign into screen loops with a budget and an impression cap. Creatives rotate across screens. Ausvero tracks pacing and alerts you when a campaign falls behind or hits its cap.

- Budgets and impression caps
- Creative rotation across screens
- Pacing alerts

### Set up sellable inventory (Pro & Enterprise)

Choose the screens or groups you sell, then set loop length and ad slots. A weekly availability grid shows sold and open time, and rate cards hold your prices.

- Screens, loops, and ad slots
- Weekly availability grid
- Rate cards for pricing

### Also in Ad Manager

- **Give advertisers portal access** (Pro & Enterprise): Advertisers request campaigns and follow delivery in their own portal.
- **Bill for time on screen** (Pro & Enterprise): Charge by time on screen as well as by play count.
- **Show campaign proof** (Pro & Enterprise): Pull play reports and proof-of-play certificates for any campaign.

## Control access and connect your systems

Decide how people sign in, limit what each team sees, and connect Ausvero to the tools you already run.

### Manage sign-in and developer access (All plans)

One Settings area covers two-factor authentication, passkeys, active sessions, API keys, and outbound webhooks. Give each API key only the scopes it needs, and check active sessions for any you don't recognize.

- Two-factor and passkeys
- Active session review
- Scoped API keys

Note: Two-factor, passkeys, and sessions are on every plan. API keys and outbound webhooks need Pro or Enterprise.

### Also in integrations and security

- **Connect with the REST API** (Pro & Enterprise): Connect your systems with scoped API keys, and get outbound webhooks when events happen.
- **Build a custom integration** (Pro & Enterprise): The OTS team builds integrations with your systems at $125 per hour, four-hour minimum.
- **Secure sign-in for everyone** (All plans): Any user on any plan can sign in with two-factor authentication or a passkey.
- **Add your whole team** (All plans): Unlimited users on every plan, with no per-seat charge.
- **Trigger rules from your systems** (All plans): Send a webhook from your own systems to fire a rule.
- **Import from cloud services** (All plans): Connect Google Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint, or Canva and import media into your library.
- **Set team access** (All plans): Limit what each team sees with built-in or custom roles, user groups, and folder-level access.
- **Sign in with SSO** (Enterprise): Single sign-on with Google, Microsoft, or SAML.
